This is Tiger!
Jared picked Tiger out of the animal shelter back in April of 97 for his 4th b-day. He named him after Tiger Woods, who was, at the time, winning his first master golf thing. Tiger is over 11 now....He has been the best cat you could ever want. He is a indoor/outdoor cat though, so he gets into his share of battles (with other neighborhood cats, we assume?). These are his current injuries. His left eye was completely swollen shut two days ago, so it actually looks pretty good right now. He has about 3 cuts on his head, that are oozing....that we have to clean about 3 times a day. He usually goes through this process at least once a year. As long as he is still eating and drinking, we just take care of him ourselves.
In the past, he went missing for about 10 days when it was -40. He lost the tips of ears in that one. Going missing at least one or two weeks out of each year, is another common thing with Tiger.
If you could see his teeth, he is missing one top fang, and one bottom fang. We think the dog accidentally knocked them out when he was just a playful puppy...we are not really sure what happened.
He has travelled from Fairbanks to Alberta, Canada, and back to Fairbanks and then over to North Pole with us.
He might not look too great right now, but we love him! The best animal shelter purchase we have ever made!

arent they the best though? we have a rescue puppy that I love dearly...I like your idea and think I will post a picture on my site
