We painted a 'hockey rink' outline on Jared's roof as his room is rectangular shapped.

This is of Jared when he was a Squirt A. (Northern Knights-old logo). I put a picture of him on a machine at the library. It casts the picture on the wall. I traced it and then cut it out. Then I retraced it on his bedroom wall. Then bought paint at the craft store and pretty much just followed the colors in the picture. It was a lot of fun.

Notice Im only showing up high. You don't want to see his floor. It is too covered with his clothes and video games.

Both hockey teams win today!

Jason who scored the first goal of the game. This wasn't the goal he scored, the goalie made a great glove save. After this one, he scored!

They beat the Northern Knights 3-2. Way to go Arctic Lions!

Jared's North Pole High School team also beat out Service High School of Anchorage 5-4! He had 2 goals and 1 assist. From what some people were saying, this is the very first time North Pole has ever beat Service, EVER and it took 33 years to get there. Way too go NP!!

So, NP lost to Dimond 5-4. That is pretty good, as Dimond is the #1 ranked team in Anchorage right now. (according to their parents that I asked!). Jared had 1 assist. 3 kids from his comp team are on Dimond, so it was a good game. Service tomorrow afternoon!

Look who's back...

Harley is back

or the 'rat' as Derek likes to call him...
This is where he spends most of his time. In front of the cat door that goes into the garage. The cat goes in to eat or use the litter box, and Harley guards the door and does not let him back in. All I hear is the 'FLIP-FLAP' sound of Harley going in and out of the cat door.
(The flip-flap is the sound of that plastic piece hitting the side)!

Polar Bear Tournament in Anchorage

They lost every game this weekend in their tourney. Dead last place. I guess the upside is, for their state tourney that takes place in just a couple of weeks, maybe the teams will take them lightly and they will just sneak right in before they know what hit em!!
