We had to take a picture of Jared and Sydney by a palm tree to prove they were somewhere besides Alaska!

My friend Sue and daughter Sydney came to Las Vegas for Spring break to visit her in laws. Sue's sister, (also from Alaska) came up to visit from Arizona with their Aunt and mother. It was great to have so many fans in such a far away place to watch Jared! Even the Carnley's from Fairbanks made it to a game, but I did not get their picture, darn it.
After game 3, actually on his last shift of the game, Jared sprained his wrist. He swore it was broken by the way it felt, but we went to the ER and the xrays showed no breaks. Sadly, he dressed out for the semi final and championship, but did not play. It was for the best, as he needs to be ready for Nationals in a couple of weeks. Thankfully it was only sprained and not broken.

That is so cool that Sydney and everyone else was there to cheer him on. Such a bummer about his wrist.
